Coffee Tables
A general rule is that coffee tables run from
14 to 18" high. There are no width and length rules (and guess what, the height
rule isn't all that fixed.) Here's how you get a size. Build a cardboard box
table to test height, width and length when placed in you room, in front of your
sofa (do you hit knees in a tight spot? does a coffee cup sit at a comfortable
height?) When you find the right size for you and your sofa, that's the
rule for you.
