Mirrors
"Eyes are the mirrors to one's soul." Maybe.
But mirrors definitely reflect the nature of that soul. What you pick to
illuminate that dark corner or to brighten a hallway tells much about how you
view your surroundings. If a 5 and dime bit of brass plating will do...
But then you wouldn't be looking at these.
No single item can more quickly transform a room than the introduction of the
bit of light and depth which a mirror offers. Shape and style need follow no
rule - perhaps an 8x40" sliver of a tile mirror to fill a wing wall, perhaps a
dot of a shard mirror above a shelf.
